The origin of Pangea Music Inc can be traced back to 1999, when Peter Cornell met a graduate of the UCLA Film Scoring ProgramME. They shared a fascination with the concept of film sound and the concept of a "director of sound", someone who could imagine and implement a creative soundtrack to match the most revolutionary visuals a director could dream up.
The dream soon became Pangea Music Inc, and THE company moved into the newly created Hollyridge Studios in 2003.
